It's fun. Group is fantastic and if you haven't shot competitions, they will walk you through everything. You need either a rifle or pistol in 22LR. If you are using 10 round magazines, it helps to have 5 but if not, the group has always helped load if needed. If you don't have a pistol or rifle that you can shoot, let me know and I have plenty of extra that you can use.

I agree it is a lot of fun. I made the trip over twice, once from Bastrop amd once from Lockhart. If it was not so dern far away would definitely be there more often. Great folks, very helpful for newbies, and a great set-up overall. Would recommend to anyone interested in this type of shooting competition, especially if within an hour or so trip.

Definitely show up early on your 1st match. You will get a "new shooter" briefing which is basically don't touch your gun unless instructed by the RO and keep your barrel pointed down range.

And new shooters shoot for free! Bring a pistol and a rifle and you can shoot both.

I am definitely excited that someone besides me posted; it has been a long time!
