Does anyone know if changing the batteries on a biometric microvault made by Gunvault resets the fingerprint access? It's not in the manual and not on the website's FAQs. I'm fairly certain it doesn't but can't find the backup key at the moment.

It does not change the fingerprints. I've changed mine many times and have had zero issue with the fingerprints being retained. You're good to go.

That is interesting. The combo ones require resetting the combo all over again, when ya pull the batteries
