Well, not really answering your question but when my dad, brother and I hunted lopes in Cheyenne in 2011 we taggged out early. The last day up there in God's Country my brother and I drove to Curt Gowdy State Park out towards Laramie. Anyway, we spinfished a reservoir in the park and got tired of seeing trout follow our spinners so we adapted and caught some grasshoppers and fished them under bubbles and limited on bows and browns.
Anyway, I think there was stream access above and below the park. In case you want to DIY rather than go the guided route. If you are driving up from Texas to Cheyenne you'll drive over and pass lots of trout water in Colorado, too.
