Only thing I'll add to the OP is if you're going to take the time to vote, take the time to look into the candidates and what they think about the things you care about before you go so you know who you're pulling the lever for.

To clarify the OP, Pelosi is not currently calling for the end of private transfers, but she is calling for "universal background checks". I leave it to you to decide what her end game is.

I've always read up on candidates. This year I'm voting straight ticket. I might roll the dice and inadvertently vote in a Flake but I know what happens if I don't vote in a Flake.

On a related note, I've been thinking for a while to make an official TexAgs gun trading thread where posters can list their gun(s) for trade. It would be trade only for Ags. For sales, posters can make their own individual post. Would any of y'all be interested in this? Or would it go unused?

I got the NRA hunting magazine in the mail the other day and it has all the Texas races listed with each candidate graded on their gun policy stance.

I'm guessing the NRA has the same on their website for those who are so inclined to check it and vet it.
