I'd make two suggestions:

1) return the mixer you have and rent something like this:



2) if you are going to have a heavier load on the slab, consider digging a 12 or 18" grade beam all the way around the perimeter with a couple of #6 bars at the bottom.

Coming from someone BSC enough to have redesigned and rebuilt his entire house by hand, there's no way in hell I'd .DIY tis as described. I would absolutely pay the minimum for this, have it delivered, and get another hand or two to screed it all.In this case adding a wash pad sounds like a great idea.

I have done some insanely hard manual labor days. Concrete work was easily 2 of the top 5 worse.

That's a lot of weight on that slab you might want to make it a little thicker
