Well, as I love all things new, crazy and unique, when one of my reps called and asked if I wanted the new Tristart Compact Bullpup shotgun, of course, my answer was unequivocally "YES." In fact, I ordered two.
I have to say this is an awesomely weird combo of parts with design elements from the tavor, AK47, M16 and and F2000. The action is basically a Saiga 12 type AK action with the front end of a F2000, rear end of a TAVOR and an extra sight carry handle that is similar to an M16 carry handle.
Ergos in the hand are very good. It's not overly heavy, and easy to move around. It also comes with an obviously knocked off AFG that looks just like a magpul but obviously isn't. Oh, and it has choke tubes.
The big knock is the typical bullpup trigger just being ok but the rest of the gun is unique enough that it can be overlooked. We'll be tearing into one of these tonight to see if we can improve the trigger any.
