Here is a little nugget for the off-season

A friend texted me this pic today. His neighbor supposedly took it from their back deck. I don't personally know the neighbor, so I'm not going to vouch for it. But I have seen the house he is referring to, and they do have a pond like this on their back deck.

In any case- what a cool picture. The look on that cat's face is awesome

It does look like that, but that effect happens when lots of digital zoom is used. Aka, "zooming in" on an iPhone. I bet the picture is legit.

I was wondering the same thing. I think it is because the distant trees are slightly out of focus. I definitly think it went through a Phone's image enhancement or something

Yeah there are photo to painting filters. That's what it looks like. Weird effect.

OK, OK- you busted me. I actually painted this, and was just embarrassed you guys might not like it. So I passed it off as a neighborhood "photo" Incase I got flamed...

Looks like one of those paintings they sell in the mall with the Blue paper that rolls behind the water to create a shimmering effect. .
