Stayed in unrelated lodge in SAfrica & were warned to stay inside at night no matter what, cuz stuff like this happens. Animals roamed freely through grounds (no fences) & we listened to two lions chuffing nearby for an about hour on our first night. Circle of life is right.

A few years ago, my wife and I stayed at a camp ( http://www.bushlifesafaris.com/vunducamp/ ) not too far from that one. Didn't have anything like that scene, but did spot a leopard prowling around the tents before going to bed one night. Not the best night of sleep I've ever had for sure.
