My rainbows of 6 years are at the end of their life and have been for a looong time. The sole is good but the surface my foot is on is highly worn and has been for a few years. They dyed my feet this past week when they got wet in Cozumel.

I'm here for suggestions. Looking for something that has good cushion, I'm a lolfat, with the ability to withstand getting wet and not get slippery

I would buy rainbows again but they were a gift and I don't see myself spending $100 on flip flops

I have a love/hate relationship with Olikai. They are by far the most comfortable flip flops I've ever worn but none have held up. Still though, I'm on about my 5th pair.

This but I am pretty sure they are only $20. I bought them because they were the cheapest and looked like quality. I bought a new pair this year. The old ones are going strong at 2 years.

Have Olukai and Sperrys. Both good.

However, when I went to get some new Teva Sandals (for more active use,and been wearing them since mid-90s), I for grins tried on a pair of Keen UNEEKS with the flat cord. A little hippie-ish, but liked them so much I bought another pair. At 50+, I can wear WTF I want. Those things are great, and by what I can tell so far, durable as heck.

Have bought Reefs for years and they would generally last me 18-24 months but the last pair was not that great. Plus I always bought the Smoothy style and they only make grey and black now. I recently bought some Hari Maris on sale at 40% off (originally $65) and I'm beyond impressed.

Have a pair of reefs for light wear and vionics for when I will be on my feet all day. Vionic has arch support and assists with plantar fasciitis
