3-4 days of agonizing torture to the death should not be off the books for crimes like this. Ultimately, these kids are p*ssies and if that could just make a few of them think twice it would be worth it. It would also be real justice for their crimes.

Here's to hoping a speedy recovery for the two innocents and a slow/painful death over a few days for the shooter.

Mostly agree. The main thing is that the media turns this crap into a circus. The most sickening thing about it... I have been *****ed at and such because I "make money on the deaths of others" yet the media blows this stuff up 10x the normal amount to... make money.

Should a shooting be national news? Sure. Anything tragic like that is and should be newsworthy. However, the way our press operates now, it's a damned carnival to see who can out do the others. At the end of the day, the news should release the facts and not try to analyze stuff into what are essentially editorials.

The news is one of the absolute biggest problems we have, as a nation.

Actually that's two for sure positives. For one, shooter is dead as he should be. On top of that, no coverage of his trial. Look, I'm 100% for our Constitution and due process. And, if they some how do survive this crap, they need to be given it. However, I have to say that it's a lot better for everyone when the shooter goes down at the scene.

just stating facts here....im sure this incident will disappear from media rather quickly. Good guy with a gun stopped the perp, doesnt really fit the narrative.


On another note Id bet this was a "teenage love" type shooting. young male shoots a boy and a girl who were near each other. The resource officer had time to hear the reports of gunfire and get to the location. Id bet this kid wasnt doing it for fame or glory just to get back at someone, sad times.

"At a boy" for the swift action of the school's sole resource officer at Maryland's Great Mills High School, Blaine Gaskill, who was instrumental in bringing the incident to a quick end.
