I love that sign. To me, the biggest reason to arm teachers is simply for the deterrent effect.

Barely fund education? Where did you get that? My isd has a Taj mahal football stadium, ipads for elementary students, new buildings, and a crap ton of administration. And so do the isds within a 50 mile radius of me.

Do you have some stats?
Yeah, but it's not like they would sacrifice those things for a security budget. Outfitting every school with these security measures would be very expensive and would come out of our pockets.
