Out in Crockett county (Ozona) but it's always windy here.

I've seen a few bucks chasing doe but no old brutes yet.

Considering popping one of the 4 turkeys here now though

20 something and counting in live oak county. Biggest a 4.5 yr old 20" eight. Already had to pop the hogs three times at the feeder with the Gamo.

But the weather is unreal and the beer is cold.

Always windy? I've spent quite a few weekends at my buddy's place south of Ozona over the past 10 years. Snakes? Yes. Hot? Yes. I don't remember much wind though.

It's pretty windy on the top of a cell phone tower which is where he must be to have cell service in Crockett County.

We talking about the same Ozona? Yes, it is a windy place. We have to anchor our blinds so they arent blown over. Heck, just go a bit further west, before you even reach Ft Stockton and youll see tons of wind turbines

Spent the past few mornings in the national forest and it's cold AF! No sign of deer anywhere.
