Hey guys. I have all my paperwork for my trust, and need to get it notarized. Who have y'all used in the Houston area that's familiar with the process and could also possibly supply witnesses? Thanks!

The notary process is the same in Texas regardless of what you're getting notarized. Your bank should do it for free.

Most banks have a notary and should have a couple of people in there to be a witness. Although I believe bank employees can't be witnesses

Many banks will turn down requests for notary service unless it has to do with bank business. Every bank has different rules.

Many of the people who come into our UPS Store for a notary have already been to the bank for their free notary service and were turned away. Our store provides witnesses if we have that number of employees on hand at the time.

We currently have five notaries in our store. Some stores have only one.

I just looked at our numbers, and our little store has done 1,876 notaries in 2017 (approx. 1/2 a year).

Stop by my office, and I'll notarize everything for $100.
