I'll be in PDC around Christmas time. Any recommendations for flats or offshore fishing?

Interested as well. Going in 2 weeks.

even the bozo tourista boats are decent. thing about playa, 200 yards off the beach is the shelf, down thousands of feet. Catching big Mahi Mahi or tuna in sight of shore is nothing. There is a little cove south of akumal pretty good for wade fishing as well.
for 'real' fishing, i dont know... the place has changed too much and i dont go anymore. it was my favorite spot on earth in the 90's - about 2008 or so... after that cruise ships, local vacationers, and farside people invaded and it lost much of its charm to me.

I fished with Captain Rick's last time I was down that way (6 years ago) on a 38 Bertram. We caught a few dorado. It was a decent day. Good luck.
