Everyone is traveling this time of the year. We see cool stuff. Sometimes we are lucky enough to snap a picture. I had to turn around and go back to get these.




These were actually the first mountain goats I'd ever seen. There are places you can go to see them, just hadn't made the trip.

The goats were just west of Frisco at the Officers' Gulch exit on I-70, Mid summer. The ram was next to Blue Mesa Reservoir on Hwy 50, west of Gunnison. Mid winter.

Think I have photos of the same goats. Cousin and I spotted several last Oct. just west of Frisco....well, us and 20 something cars.

No goats near us. These were closer to Denver. The ram was about 30 miles away as the crow flies.

I didn't get a picture but I saw my first ever javelina Thursday about 15 miles south of Van Horn, TX. Kind of a fun sighting while working.

It's all a function of the lens...

I took this one off a ranch road a couple of years ago. It was probably 200+ yards and up a few minutes before sunset.

I was standing in the middle of a highway...about 5 miles from the ranch when I took that pick or else you'd have a picture of him on the wall. I left him a trail of corn back to the gate in hopes he'd find his way home.
