Serious question, if you're going to rob a store, why the F would you not have a round chambered before you ever walked in the door? Why the show of (almost) chambering a round? Is this the "racking the slide on a pump gun" is an intimidating action thing?

I don't think he was in on it. His body language and facial expression seemed to annoyedly and flatly say, "Really? You're robbing us? Fine dude. Whatever. Just take it. Here...take the tray too." If he was in on it I feel like he would've put on more of an acting job. I feel like he was more put out and annoyed by it than anything.
