The ranch has been in the family for over 100 years. The brothers that own the ranch are both Ags, as are their wives. One of the brothers has two sons currently enrolled at A&M and the other brother's kiddos will no doubt attend when they are old enough.

They were very sad to see their long term lessors have to give up the ranch. The owner's parents are ranchers and still ranch and live on the property although they are getting up in years. A great portion of the parent's yearly income is from the lease.

It is high fenced on three sides if I remember correctly.

If you were a Range Science major in the past 30 years, you probably took a field trip there.
