I have a 30 ft 1968 Airstream trailer for sale. Its cross listed on the classified page with some pictures and my email. I'm asking $15k.

I've always thought Airstreams looked really cool, but never researched them. What makes them so much pricier than other campers with similar features and size?

Have you ever seen a 50 year old camper for sale that wasn't an Airstream?

Not trying to derail OP, just responding to NoahAg.

Airstreams are the YETI of campers. Very expensive and rarely fit more than four people. Imagine the YETI Roadie as a scaled down version.

My dad has a 1956 Airstream Bambi (single axle) that he totally restored on the inside and it's probably good for another 50 years now. I might borrow it for football season this year since he doesn't use it very often.

That one certainly needs restored. My guess is for $20k of improvements you would have a helluva $30k rig.

It's easy to find a 50 year old trailer!

Old trailers are really popular right now. Airstreams are pretty well made and the aluminum framing is much nicer than a stick built trailer. That said, they still leak and the interior can rot just as bad as a stick built trailer. They just don't rot into the ground like a wood framed trailer.

No need for air conditioning!
