Looking at getting some new gear and was wondering what kind of camo pattern y'all use for South Texas hunts? Realize it may change from dove to deer season.

Brush Country is another favorite of mine. Game guard is very good as well.

Look, I have a **** ton of disposable income and want to "look" cool when I sit in a heated box blind. I have 10 different patterns I wear and mix and match, depending on what boots or hat I am wearing. I have to make sure the pics of my high fenced genetically modified buck make the cover of Texas Trophy Hunters Magazine with a long article about my "hunt". I also have a $400 custom skinning knife I use to open feed sacks, it has never touched blood or deer skin because someone else does that for me.
In short, my camo choice depends on boots and belt selection for that weekend.

Don't wear the super dark mossy oak and you'll be fine. Camo patterns (or necessity at all) is overblown by a factor of 1000.
Even more so if you are (as most do) hunting out of a tower blind or tripod.

stalking - then you can worry about camo

if you're sitting in an enclosed hunting blind then you can wear just about anything, although darker is better.
