Yea, graphics don't look impressive. Especially with the leaked trailer and screenshots from it.

Those don't look like screenshots... more like phone pics.

Battlefield 2042. If it's modern and similar to BF3 or BF4 I will play.

I definitely hope that whatever cross platform feature they have allows for console users to select whether or not to play with PC. Way less chances of people using third party software if you can limit to playing only against Playstation or Xbox users.

Fortnite allowed keyboards against console players and I immediately quit. Hopefully everyone gets the message that it should be like input methods only.

Excited for a new BF game using the XB Series X tech.

It's because of the excessive post processing they do. Don't know why but they've always done this. It's kinda BF's signature.

Huge troll job by Battlefield saying the reveal drops at 9am Central and then putting on a one hour countdown.

I've been around too long... it's really hard to impress me with trailers anymore. The "let's go BIG" idea in trailers has been stale for a while now.

Looked pretty cool, but I just want to see real gameplay and let me know when I can sign up for a Beta!

Interesting thought and I'm curious if they will emphasize this in the single player plot... the guys fighting this war in 2042 are the babies being born right now.

Gameplay reveal on Sunday the 13th

Looked okay. Pretty much battlefield. It'll be interesting to see if the weather they teased is dynamic or if it occurs consistently every time a map is played.

A lot of the stuff they showed was just to confirm the aspects of previous games are still around. Driving c4 cars, jumping out of and back into planes, etc.

Edit per ars Technica it drops 10/22, 128 players for next gen and PC. No single player campaign. Ten specialist classes. Medic can shoot syringe for long distance healing. Paid battle pass but only cosmetics. Dynamic weather on every map. Two new modes that aren't battle royale.

Few other details coming out:
You can call in a vehicle any time and it airdrops in seconds. Including jet and helicopters and tanks
$60 for PC and last gen, $70 for next gen
Pre orders are open. Technical alpha early July but it says they'll invite "some veteran battlefield players" so probably not tied to preorder and won't be generally open to the public

This will be the first BF game I will play almost exclusively on PC. So excited!

Just pre-ordered the Gold edition for the year pass and Beta access. Depending on how the beta goes will determine if I keep the game or not.

That trailer was incredible. So much fan service.

And lemme just say, if you didn't enjoy that trailer, you're probably not a long time BF fan. They embraced BF3 and BF4 and the "only in battlefield" moments in that trailer perfectly.

PS4 & Xbox One have smaller maps with 64 players.

So definitely won't have crossplay between current gen and previous gen/PC.

Edit: Battle Pass is supposedly cosmetics. Hopefully no Roze-like skin makes it in the game...

And no Battle Royale mode.
