Looking to sell some comic books and sports cards. Anyone have recommendations for where, especially in San Antonio? Comics are from the 70s and 80s. Trading cards are mostly from the 90s and early 2000s.

1. Set your $$$ expectations low,

and

2. Then expect to receive even less than that.

from someone who has 20K+ comics books.

For some reason sports cards seem to be popular again. I've got some sitting around I might look at soon. Randy Johnson rookie card is in there somewhere.

Man, I remember when it was a decent market to sell comics. I've got some old, decently rare stuff as well but I assume it's worth nothing at this point. I have some original X-Men comics in the tens including Prof X origin story. #12 maybe?

It used to be worth around $400 when I last looked about 20 years ago.

If you have stuff from the 70's and 80's you may have a handful of key issues that could be worth something. It'll say on this site that non key issues are worth 3-4 dollars but you should not expect that.

If you want to offload them all in one go make a list and go to your local comic books shops and see what they say. You should expect expect to get not very much with your key issues included but it's a lot easier than trying to do it your self on ebay. You'd probably be at a similar profit selling off key issues and recycling the rest vs selling to a comic shop.

Hmm, it's not in great shape. Probably on the lower end of that scale.
