Almost bought a PS4 last year just to play this game. Glad I waited

'bout damn time there was a decent baseball game on xbox.

Super Mega Baseball has been awesome, other than a lack of mlb license. It looks cartoony like NFL blitz, but it's actually a solid baseball sim.

Life is full of Hard Choices. I was going for the PS5 as I'm used the the controller for the Show.

But since I have the drive expansion for the Series X and it will be on Game Pass for no extra fee, I'm going that route now.

Wish I had upgraded consoles already so I could use the stadium creation tools

Massively excited this is a gamepass title as the last version of the show I had was getting a bit dated

My only hope is that they keep the game balanced this time. The last time I played from launch, everything was amazing for the first two months. Then they rebalanced hitting because the top online players were complaining that it was too easy. I went from hitting 2 homers a game to maybe .3 a game (no idea if those numbers are right but the point stands - it basically became impossible to hit homers online). I hate when the online elite make the game ****tier for everyone else because the game as coded doesn't fit less than 1% of the player pool who are good enough to break the game (in this case hitting ridiculous amounts of homers)

I was only a Division/Championship series player at best and it was so frustrating to watch games go from fun 6-5 matchups to agonizing 1-0 victories.

I hate how $$$ driven FUT is but I have won D1 a few times without paying and never felt like it was as impossible to climb the ranks as DD has been at times (which is much more accessible in terms of not spending real cash)

Still can't believe that this game will be on Gamepass. Gamepass is easily the best value in gaming and just keeps getting better.

Getting so amped for this. Its been damn near a decade since I played an MLB game. Hell, Altuve was a rookie in the last game I played

Damn sounds like the Road to the Show mode changed massively and is handicapped with microtransactions

Make sure you pre download the right version... For some reason it gave me the xbox one version earlier this week so I had to delete it and download the series x|s version

Game is playing SO well...hope they don't tweak the gameplay too much. Still trying to get better with pinpoint pitching but I think I'm just going to stick with analog.

For us rookies to The Show (aka Xbox folks), which pitching style is preferred in this game? Meter, analog, pulse, classic?

Really need to get a Series X, this game lags a little on the Xbox One

A lot of hardcore players swear by analog. I'm partial to meter.

You could try pinpoint, which is new this year.

Pinpoint is a fun challenge but I'm sticking with analog for a while.

Downloading on an Xbox one X. Hoping the performance is good enough to not make me want a next gen.
