For many months now, every time I open Chrome in my work computer it doesn't sync with my Google account and I have a pop up in the corner letting me know that it syncing. It's not a huge deal as I can sign in with a few clicks and my password but just an annoyance. I thought it maybe was due to a change in our IT policy (for example I can't get on Gmail at work) but none of my coworkers seem to have a similar issue.

I was on the phone with our IT help desk about an unrelated and they couldn't seem to solve either. Any ideas?

Do you have a static IP address at work?

That's bizarre, I've had this exact same problem for about 2 weeks now and I thought it was due to our policy as well.

The weird thing is I can sync perfectly fine on my dad's desktop while I've been down in Texas. Still can't on my work laptop.

Help desk has been no help as of yet.

Perhaps it is making you authenticate because the IP address changes?

Could be. But from asking around no other coworkers are having this issue.
