Took the kids out tonight and we found it with binoculars once it finally got dark. Pretty cool stuff!

What time did you go out?

My wife wants to try her hand at taking some photos of it but we went out at sunset, stood around for half an hour waiting, and saw nothing.

We were out there around sunset (8:30) and it was dark enough to find in the sky around 9:15. This was in Central Texas.

I went out 4 nights ago on the 19th, and grabbed a few shots even though there was still some thin clouds in the area. I was hoping to get a good view of the long thin blue ion tail besides the brighter dust tail. West of Bryan before you get to the Brazos river, so somewhat dark skies.
