I just bought a new Samsung Q80DT that just came out. I also bought a Sonos Play Bar which hooks up to TV via optic cable.

On most things that I watch, the lip sync is fine but on several things, especially Amazon Prime, there is a significant voice delay. I find that a lot of the newer movies and shows through DirecTV and through Netflix are fine but some of the older production movies and through Prime are out of sync.

I can make adjustments through my TV to sync up the voices but not all shows are out of sync so it doesn't make sense to make this a permanent fix.

Since I have 90 days to return these, I went ahead and bought the new Sonos ARC, which has an HDMI hookup and I can run it through my E-ARC on my new TV. I have read that this should help.

Any thought or input would be greatly appreciated.
