Controller for video games on mac?

If I buy Madden or other video games for my Mac can I buy a controller that will work or do I have to use the keyboard?

You should be able to. I've heard PS4 controllers play nicer with Macs, you can connect with bluetooth and USB, you can use an Xbox One controller but it has to be wired.

Correction, Newer Xbox One controllers with Bluetooth work in macOS Catalina. If you are using BootCamp, Xbox One controller works Natively in Windows 10. But all depends on if the game supports controller. For non Catalina, there's tools out there that allow Xbox controller to work.

Into retro games? Check out OpenEMU for Mac. Emulates up to Game Cube.
