I have three of these and I have confirmed that dish:

1.) doesn't want them back

2.) has them linked to an account so they cannot be sold or transferred.


So, they are heading to the electronic recycling pile if I can't find a good use for them.

Right now, I'm trying to find an old aftermarket car stereo that I could wire up with a Bluetooth input for a cheap radio to stream from my phone in my shop. I don't have any leads on an old car stereo but is there any way the dish receiver could be used? Does it have any other useful purpose at this point?

I know how you feel though...it is very difficult for me to toss stuff that functions in some form or another or could serve another purpose....it gets easier though the more you do it.
