Nerdery, I need your help.

I have tried to use two different USB wireless adapters (Asus & Linksys) for my custom built gaming rig. I have downloaded the drivers for each one from their respective manufacturer's site and every time I get a Code 10 error message.

I know that this message means a driver error typically, but I could not have had two bad drivers in a row. So I am wondering what else might be the issue. I have an old MOBO (GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3-B3) so I was wondering if that would be causing the issue. I have Windows 10 64 bit also.

Are the wireless adapters rated for windows 10? I have a few old ones that only worked up to windows 7 and nothing I did made them work with 10.

They're relatively new Asus and Netgear adapters. The one I have right now is the Asus USB68C

Go to your device manager and see if your machine is even recognizing the card,
"Poor soul, he was just too high strung. I'm afraid the strain was more than he could bear."
