I'm on a AA 777-300 (77W) Saturday night during the game. Is there any hack that will allow me to stream the SEC channel on my ESPN app from the plane's Wifi?

I know they have some live TV channels, but not SEC. Last time I flew international you could not stream ESPN app. Is there a workaround?

thanks

AA's wifi can't handle streaming.

The newer Ka- band satellite systems can. Old ground-based Gogo, not so much.

If my plane has the new Ka does it allow you to stream? For some reason, I thought they blocked ESPN, Netflix, etc.

It will likely either block it or the rate will be so bad that it won't work.

Your best bet is Gamecast.

I have yet to successfully stream an Aggie game on an AA flight. Make sure you have the app downloaded before you board and try to logon as soon as you can. That has seemed to help, but I've always ended up frustrated and switch to gamecast.

Ah yes, didn't consider them blocking certain sites and streaming services. I always log in to my home VPN server to get around that.
