I've still been using Aperture on Mac for photo editing since support for it ended 4-5 years ago. With the upgrade to Catalina, it's no longer usable so I need a replacement for the Aperture product that I so loved.

Any recommendations? I had already migrated everything into Photos, but am missing some of the intermediate features for photo editing, metadata viewing/editing, file sorting, etc. Adobe Cloud is overkill for what I need and I refuse to pay a monthly ransom to use the software. Would much rather buy a one-time license.

TIA

Luminar for the win. Version 4 comes out in the next week.

Does 90% of photoshop and lightroom for ~$65.
