I have cancelled the following in my life:
2009 cable TV. Got rid of my TV in 2015
2010 XM Radio
2016 cable/home internet.
2018 Amazon prime (prime member since 2007)

I've never had netflix, hulu, etc. If work didn't stipend me for my unlimited verizon plan, i would probably have a dumbphone.

Xbox Live - will likely cancel next time it comes up if my kids don't start playing Xbox again).
Netflix - free through my T-Mobile service, but I pay $3 extra for premium

I called Sirius yesterday and got my All-Access account down from $30 to $10.95 for 12 months. Did't take much haggling either.

*When Sirius first came out, my dad and I put the tuners in our vehicles and we (each paid half @ ~$150 each) bought a lifetime subscription for us under his account, which included streaming. What we didn't know is that they would only transfer the service to a new vehicle twice before you have to pay again. Since we've both gotten several new cars since and aren't paying them again since we bought a "lifetime" subscription, I see no issue with streaming through the app (grandfathered in) using my dad's login. They play their game and we play ours. I primarily use it when I'm not in the Houston area and want to stream the Astros/Texans games as well as want an actual radio station playing rather than Spotify's "radio."

At the bare minimum you should be able to get it down to $5/mo by calling and threatening to cancel. I have to do this every 6 months for my wife's car. Generally takes 10-15 min on the phone.

This thread just saved me $150/month. Thank yall for the input.

Good thread because I'm over leveraged on subscriptions. I've been meaning to cut mine back and have just been lazy about it.

I called in to Sirius and threatened to cancel. Got 6 months with the Internet Streaming for my wife's car and my phone for $30. Just told them it wasn't worth over $5/month for me as I could do Slacker or any number of other streaming services for that price point. Five minutes later, my wife's car and my Sirius streaming were paid for.
