This is probably a weird question...but I'm working on my budgeting and I'm curious what all you subscribe to (that's semi tech related)? I feel like I have a whole bunch, but it might not be that much compared to other folks.

For discussion, why so many music streaming subscriptions? If you're looking to save money, you could seriously cut back in that area.

Youtube Red gets you all of google music, and their offering seems to cover basically anything that Apple music has. And is there a real need for Sirius, when you could just plug in an aux cord or stream over bluetooth to you car? Prime music is limited, but gets you some additional content. It's not really something to cut back on, since I assume you have prime for the shipping.

Ah dang...I forget that I use Apple Music with my Apple Watch. It's pretty handy since I'm a runner. That's the reason I stick with it. Hmmm...but is that worth another $9/month?

Yes, I use it on mine, when my wife has my spotify account tied up on my echo. The bad thing is google music does not work on Alexa devices unless you are controlling it from your phone via bluetooth.

They also have some music that spotify doesn't, like Tool.

BUT I added PSVue to watch TV as a free trial. I'm considering cutting Sirirus/XM, but I do enjoy it.

I think that Youtube TV comes with Youtube Red. If you don't love PS Vue, consider trying out Youtube TV.

I don't think it does. It's two separate deals.

Thread title asked what services you subscribe to. Not sure why you included those you mooch off daddy.

I don't know what you are paying but you can get SiriusXM for 5 dollars a month (6 months for 30 dollars) as long as you call and threaten to cancel. I do this regularly and its never been a problem, you just have to remember to call before the auto pay kicks in (I set a google calendar reminder).

Hence the separate category. Just showing the ones I pay for wouldn't be the full picture of services I use (which is what I assumed OP was looking for).

I've got bad news if you think most users pay for all their own subscriptions and don't share any..

This thread has inspired me!

- I called my cable internet service and got $20/month off my bill for a year
- Called Sirius XM and my bill went from $26 to $10/month
- Cancelled Apple Music (I get google music with YouTube Red)
- Cancelled Strava Premium (there's a free version)
- Cancelled New York Times (never read it)

I guess the moral to the story is it's worth calling every once in a while and threatening to cancel!
