Mouse Skipping Problem

My wireless mouse on my PC skips around to where it's unusable at times. I've tested the mouse on my laptop and it works fine, so the issue is my PC not the mouse. I've also run a full scan with McAfee on my PC and there are no viruses or other issues detected.

1. Any ideas how to fix the issue?
2. If not, any suggestions for getting a pro to look at it? Gotta be a tech company online that could help right?

Battery is good. Mouse works fine on another computer.

Check to confirm you have the latest driver for the mouse.

Mousepad

Most likely it's the surface you're using and not the mouse.

Different USB port?

No to both mousepad and USB port. Checked both!

I think it's some sort of issue with PC. Like it can't "keep up" with the mouse.

Have you check any of these in Control Panel - Mouse?
Check on Both PC & Laptop.
What you see are my settings. Which work for me.

I've seen that suggestion elsewhere.

Also, some found that installing the wireless USB dongle on a USB hub or even at the end of a USB cable (away from the PC) was the fix. (2.4 GHz interference)

Had to move some USB dongles to a front USB port for the same issue.

This has definitely been the problem for me on more than one occasion.
