With CrashPlan phasing out their home service, I have been exploring some other options. Utilizing my AggieNetwork Google storage space, I have tried Google Backup and Sync, but couldn't ever sell myself on in it. I had a few issues with the application crashing or freezing some stuff up on my computer. CrashPlan is trying to push their existing users to Carbonite. What your thoughts on backup providers right now?

I'm looking at Backblaze. I had issues with a restore from carbonite years ago that jaded me. They may be better, but Backblaze has solid feedback and good pricing via B2 for backing up NAS as well.

I've never used Veeam's consumer offerings, but we use them religiously at work for our VM infrastructure and they are awesome.
