How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
I have a list of rows where each line is multiplied the same way. =A*B*C where the value in column "C" is actually one of three values/columns based on the scenario i.e. "C1" "C2" "C3".

I would like to be able to have a drop down cell somewhere in the spreadsheet that allows me to choose the scenario "C" (C1, C2 or C3) so that it multiplies against column A and B (these are always constant) based on the variable "C". What would be the best function to use?

Create a list and use data validation to create your drop down menu then select the drop-down menu value as your multiplier.

Create the list by putting the values ie C1, C2, C3 in cells F1, F2, F3 then select those cells and change their name (like changing a table name) then in another cell like E1 select Data Validation and select list and enter your list name. Then your formula will be A x B x $E$1
