Crap... I just beat a couple games that I've been sitting on and was just about to start a couple more that I got during one of the previous sales.

No doubt I'll find at least one thing to buy... just not enough time to play them!

Sweet. I was just about to pick up Dying Light and Borderlands Handsome collection to play through again. Glad I waited an extra couple of days in case they are part of the sale.

Shadow of Mordor GOTY is $4 on PS4 right now for subscribers. I'm hoping for the same for Xbox. If nothing else, it will be a cheap way to find out if I should get the sequel this Fall.

Some really great deals. Not sure if I'll bite on any... still got a few games I already own to play through. Gears 4 is sorta tempting, but I'll probably wait until I get the One X since that is one of the games that is suppose to get significant One X upgrades.

Right now I'm playing through the Titanfall 2 single player campaign. It's a blast.

Is Skyrim worth a look? Loved Oblivion, but don't have too much spare time to play games these days.

It's stupid how Msft handles add-on prices. You can buy BF4 for $20 from the Xbox store and several DLCs were free at various times through Xbox Gold before BF1 released. However the Premium Pass is still $59.99.

GameStop has had better sales on the BF1 Premium Pass (should have bought it then) and that's without paying for Gold.

I know EA/Dice hasn't released much DLC yet so the Pass arguably still carries a decent value, but ugh.

How is it that GTAV is still full price? Every time these sales come up, I check that game to see if I can get a good deal on it but it's still $30 at 50% off. Didn't it come out like 1.5-2 years ago?

And honestly these are really great deals... new games have been $59 since I was a kid (some of the larger memory SNES games were $70+). So to get most of these games for under $30 and in some cases around $15 is a steal!

Prices are set by publishers. GTAV has been on sale, just not now. HTH.

Yeah... The MS exclusives haven't exactly blown anybody away. It's a good thing Xbox live is awesome.

Quantum Break is on my list, but I'm still holding.

I ended up getting Ori and Geometry Wars. I'm staying away from the larger games until I beat the ones I got.

PSN and Steam always blow Microsoft sales out of the water. I can't justify going digital when the prices dwarf physical copies despite lower cost. I understand that consoles aren't as saturated with games and publishers want to sell physical stock before discounting digital content though.

I guess ignorance is bliss... I'm just happy to get some good discounts on good games.

Thanks for posting this - very thoughtful! It's also free to play on XB1 from now until the end of the weekend, so one can even try it before deciding whether to splash out that big $4.

Picked up FIFA and AC. Last day of the sale is today.

I ended up with 4 games. At first I just got Ori and the latest Geometry Wars which are both really good and are fun to play here and there between sessions of my current "big" game (Mad Max).

But I caved and ended up getting 2 more last week. Picked up Batman Premium Edition (already beat the game but wanted to add it to my permanent collection and play again) and an old 360 game Call of Juarez Gunslinger.

The problem with the last 2 is that I had been chilling with a couple hard drinks and decided I would "browse" the game sale again... booze and discounted prices are a bad combination I guess!
