I shoot photos frequently at 3 gun matches and take a few bursts for each competitor. This allows me to catch the brass in the air.

So my poor 2 year old camera has > 30k shots on it. I will definitely wear it out at some point!

I just want mine to have as many clicks as yours before it dies.

The D850 does time lapses with an electronic shutter so that there is no wear on your shutter. One time lapse = 1 click.

Sports and weddings take a toll. I don't even have a clue how many pics I have taken, but at least I have a lot of cameras to even out the wear.

I got over the fear of shutter failure when I started shooting timelapses last year.

Went to the State Fair 3 times in one week this year... that turned into over 10,000 frames of footage, which got condensed into 60 seconds of select footage for one absolutely silly instagram post. Between the 3 or 4 cameras I'm deploying for New Years Eve this year, I'm expecting 5,000 shots taken in an hour of field work.

Not saying that to compete with or one-up a pro in GS, just to encourage everyone to trust the durability of their gear. These things were built to do the work.

Depends on the game.

I've shot anywhere between 1500 and 6000.

Three yards and a cloud of dust isn't particularly photogenic. If the teams are spending all their time between the 30s and running up the middle, it is pretty poor for photography.

I've got a 750, thinking about a backup body. Getting another 750 or newer seems like overkill.

Any thoughts on the lesser full frame Nikon bodies?

Someone local is interested in my 6D and it feels like someone is offering to buy my child. Changing systems is heart wrenching!

What are you asking and any lenses? Debating going mirrorless for my dive camera vs compact or small SLR

Asking $900, but $850 for an Ag. No lenses but I'll throw in an extra Sony battery (because you will need extra batteries).

Got all my Canon gear sold off, that was much easier than expected.

Got a Fuji X-T2, 23 f2, and 50-140 f2.8 IS on the way. Figured I'd go all in on the telephoto, since I knew I'd be missing my 70-200 immediately.

It's called feet. I like to use mine.

Next year, I'll pick up a 10-24. I have never found myself wanting for a 50-60mm equivalent, ever.

I think it all depends on your style of photography. I shoot primarily sports and use my 70-200 90% of the time.

You know, having grown up shooting 50mm, I always think it's a necessary focal length. But it's really not. I think great portrait FL starts from 85mm and most landscape FL are at a much wider range.

I only have my 50mm f1.4 because of the helicopter photography I do, which sucks because the Sony 50mm f1.4 is hella 'spensive
