I switched to the Google DNS server and it took my wait time from three hours to 39 minutes. Less than 2 GB to go now. Hopefully I'll be up and running soon.

But then we ran Crota NM and I got the helm, and then Crota HM and I got another Gjallarhorn and a WoC so a pretty successful night. One of the guys in my fireteam got 3 exotics on 3 nightfalls

It was Timmy, He has been on a tear recently. Thunderlord, Universal remote, and a helm from an Ir yut/Crota kill last week. 3 exotics from 3 nightfalls last night and a helm for one of his other characters on Crota last night. He was definitely due but now I think hes going to make me run VOG HM 3x this week to see if his luck continues and he can finally get a Fatebringer.

He has been due for some drops! Sounds like it has been a pretty good haul these past few weeks.

Haven't had a chance to play much and sitting at level 13. Quick question: What do I do with ascendant shards and motes of light? I'm assuming they're for later, so I'm just holding on to them for now.

By the way, I'm getting absolutely destroyed in the crucible. It seems like it's always 7 guys who are 30+ and then me. I have a bounty to finish 5 control matches, but honestly the first two were so frustrating that I'm not sure I can go through with it three more times.

Not sure how everyone else feels, but the new update they did just made smacking Crota with the sword so much easier. Only took 2 swords on HM this morning. Was able to get 5 smashes each the first sword, then 4 and 4 and it was over. Never gotten before the Ogres on HM before.

Gramercy,

Your shards and energies you will just save right now until you reach level 20, then they will be used to upgrade legendary gear and weapons.

Sooner you get to level 20, the more fun this game gets.
