So big 12 and pac 12. Do we just pick a random team from the bottom of those conferences? Is that how this works?

Make sure before you select a team, that you check the balance of teams in the conferences.
Also, if you can, try to do any preseason stuff this evening if you can. I'll try to advance it to week 1 around 11 this evening.

I'm looking at the settings and the skill level vs the CPU is set to All-American but the user vs user is set to varsity. Are we going to want to change that?

We will advance this tomorrow to allow those who haven't been able to select a team to get one.
The first couple of weeks should go by pretty quickly...I don't think there are any early head to head games.
