I saw this article and thought it was intriguing that in this country we could potentially be sued without even knowing who was suing us, then I saw Buzbee was the lawyer and it all of a sudden made sense.

Sorry to say, but if you look at Buzbee's history of cases, then you know he isn't living the Aggie values. He's a greaseball attorney.

I mean if you really wanna be honest any Aggie lawyer is not living the Aggie values.

They're all greaseballs to some degree.

From all accounts Buzbee is a veteran, has done a ton for this school and other good cause so I don't care what kind of lawyer he is.

Settling would indicate guilt. If Zeke got 6 games for pretty much nothing, Watson's suspension should be much longer. Watson is the Bill Cosby of the NFL.

He was always gonna settle and the settlements probably won't change many minds in either direction. Most have already decided how they feel about this.

His people did him no favors in this. Even if he truly wanted to fight it, he would be lucky to get to a trial in 2 years in Harris County. Very easily could take 3-4 years. I currently have a handful of cases that have been pending over 5. He was never gonna let this hang out there for that long. My guess is no one told him that this is what "defending his name" would truly entail.
