Payton is not bad but definitely overrated. And Brees is completely done. He reminds me of Peyton Manning in his last year where his arm is just toast, but Manning had an amazing defense to win for him while he could just be checkdown charlie. Brees does not have that luxury and his arm is totally exposed
And Brady or Belichick? First year clearly goes to Brady in the debate on who had the most to do with NE's success
New Orleans is $100 million over the cap. Even if Brees could still play, it couldn't be in NO.

He's not getting any younger and that checkdown charlie arm isn't getting any stronger. And they would have to dismantle a chunk of the team due to their 2021 cap situation vs improve his supporting cast. He's done.

Brady now 32-11 in the post-season as a starter. That's insane. He's played almost 3 full-extra seasons of playoff games. His career QBR in the post-season is 90.2. That would have been third in the NFL this year.

Not surprised since his head never seemed to hit anything. When I saw replay, I guessed maybe the neck grab temporarily cut off his oxygen and made him woozy.
