I disagreed on Anthony Lynn just because that team had injuries and a rookie QB doing some amazing things. I mean they collapsed repeatedly like Sherman, but I would have given him one more year.
Bill O'Brien, Dan Quinn, and Matt Patricia got fired during the season. I knew Doug Marrone and Adam Gase would get fired after the season, but I was a bit surprised by the Chargers decision to fire Anthony Lynn. After a humiliating 45-0 loss to the New England Patriots at home, the Chargers finished with 4 consecutive wins. Keeping Lynn for another year would give him an opportunity to further develop Justin Herbert.
Lynn was fired because he could not reverse the Chargers' incredible bad luck in close games.
the Chargers have lost a whopping 15 games by a touchdown of less the last 2 years.

Lynn's clock management was atrocious. That roster needs to have the right coach in place because they have the talent at key positions to be good for quite a while.

Any Giants player or fan complaining that the Eagles didn't try to win the game and that cost the Giants the playoffs is ignoring the fact that the Giants had a 6-10 record.
Giants head coach Joe Judge and his team noted the Giants (6-10) had 16 opportunities of their own this season, and said you don't ever want to leave your fate in the hands of anybody else. they only team they owe anything to is their own team which would mean losing to get a better draft pick.

Meh... based on the reports today, it sounds like that wasn't what the team thought was going to happen.
along those same lines...what in the world were the Chargers (7-9) doing in winning 4 straight to end the season?
were tracking toward a top 6 or 7 pick...instead got #13
