Well, it is nice to win a game but I really wanted to tank. I guess the division is well within play.
I know folks want the L, but at the rate things were going, this team actually appeared to have a lot more problems than one draft could ever fix. I think it's actually good they are showing life because maybe that gap to close is not quite as massive as it appeared
I actually agree 100%. No real training camp really hurt this team. I honestly would bring the whole coaching staff back and give it a real run next season with Dak, of course .
Cowboys were probably never going to finish with top 3 pick and select a no-brainer. There are plenty of great players available in every draft. You've just got to pick them.DannyDuberstein said:

You don't want McCarthy to lose the team. Team is responding to the coaching staff. They're improving and playing hard. Even if the season is a wash, figure out which guys want to play professional football.

Look at Mike Leach. His offense is atrocious so far. No spring practice with new offense made this a lost season for Mississippi State.
Starting four quarterbacks in a season is bad combination for any team. Especially when two of them stink.
This is a fair point. I still think winning the east is a huge mistake tho because of the massive drop off in draft position and the fact that our offensive line is all backups. I wouldn't pencil us in to win the east. we had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and we showed a lot of different looks.
The real question is should I start the thread on Thursday since we won or should someone else do it to ensure a loss?

It wasn't just today. They gave the Steelers all they could handle. If this team plays like it has the last 2 games then we'll win the division.
