To answer your original question, I am watching the Jets and the Dolphins right now, and it sure looks like the Jets are a good bet to secure the top overall pick. ESPN has been talking about a scenario where New York trades Sam Darnold, making room for Trevor Lawrence. His star power could go a long way in NYC.

it doesn't matter who is your current QB...take Lawrence.

don't say "hey, we're good at QB...we'll pass on him"

When Flacco is your QB, you take anyone else. Flacco is the most journeyman QB in the history of the game, IMO. I know that he won a SB with the Ravens, but that was 95% Ravens defense.

Don't disagree generally about Flacco, but his numbers in playoffs the super bowl year were fantastic.

Also, Flacco is only on team number 3...I think.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is the current definition of journeyman QB, he's on his 8th team I think. Josh McCown has started for 10 teams I believe. Flacco isn't going to play for that many teams.

He's only played for three teams so far. There are others with a much bigger number. I think Brian Hoyer is on team #8 with three tries on NE.
