12 man league, half PPR, 6th pick in the draft last night. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX.

QB: Prescott, Baker
RB: Henry, Ingram, Moss, Mattison, Thompson
WR: D. Adams, Golladay, Sutton, Kirk, John Brown
TE: Higbee, Goedert
D/ST: Seahawks (plan to stream)
K: Butker

Figure I may need to try and make a move for some depth at RB. Hoping Dalvin holds out.

Good WR depth, will generally start 3WRs each week. Thompson was a nice value pick late, but RB production could be a problem for you. When mentally mapping out which round you likely drafted everyone, I don't see any problems.

What's the point in having Baker on the roster at this point? If you're planning to stream defenses, why draft the one playing a veteran Falcons Offense in week 1? Gotta be better matchups right?

At the time I didn't think about the fact Clowney was gone, and was considering the addition of Jamal Adams. Didn't decide to stream until after the draft.

Took Baker purely because there wasn't much else to choose from. Any other skill player I took would just be a stash/flyer, so figured I'd take a second QB that could possibly figure it out and have a decent year.

not bad. would drop baker and add a RB. might do the same with goedert as well but i'd rather have him than baker.

Even in Baker figures out and is solid, you're never starting him over Dak unless there is an injury, so he's strictly you guy you have for week 10 vs HOU when Dak is on bye. Might as well stash one of those flyers you're talking about as a lottery ticket and give yourself one more chance at having the guy who breaks out or takes over because of injury, and instead of praying to pick that up off the wire later.

Yep. Baker was mostly injury insurance. Ozigbo is probably the only RB available worth dropping him for.

Edit: Just about every team took a 2nd QB before I took Baker, so the QB market is pretty thin. That also contributed to me taking him.

Golladay is a great WR2 pick.

I like his outlook more than Hopkins' or either Tampa WR's.

Ingram is a good pick too. I think the veteran will get the goal line and crunchtime carries.

Dak is an every week starter regardless of opponent

That being said, why did you draft both Murray and Brees? Pick one. Then go draft some flyer.

I picked up Brees as insurance in the 11th after grabbing Kyler in the 7th. Not 100% sold on Kyler

Why draft Kyler in 7th if you're not 100% sold on him? You can't change it now, but you could've waited and just gotten Brees later on and pretty much been fine.

That being said, that's a deep bench. I might try to trade Pollard or Mattison to whoever has Zeke or Cook. Handcuffs don't really exist league wide these days, but those 2 are sure fire handcuffs for some elite RBs.

Also this early in the season I'd grab another WR flyer over Fant on the bench. Fant may score more points than whoever you pick up, but it probably won't be too much different. But the WR will probably have higher upside to where you may need to start him.

Had the 2nd pick in my 12 team draft. Ok at QB but feel good about everything else. Took flyers late on both. Feel pretty good 1 of the 2 will return to form.

I ended up with Rodgers and Big Ben at qb, probably my weakest position. Got spoiled with having Lamar Jackson as a 9th rounder on last years team.

Why would I do that? I feel pretty solid about my WR group. I think Jarwin and Hurst will both be top 10 TE options all year, Jarwin with top 5 potential but neither are sure things. Would rather wait a couple weeks and drop or trade 1 for a need.

Over who? Hopkins and Beckham have tuff matchups but not sure if I could pull either one out week 1 for Chark.

I'd see how Chark stacks up with OBjr and JuJu in the experts week 1 rankings

JuJu has the best matchup. Not gonna bench him with Big Ben back week 1. OBJ may be a possibility.
