  • The Chargers have moved on from Philip Rivers. Rivers also moved his family to Florida a few weeks ago.

Both icons for their franchises, but the teams made the right decision to move on. It'll be interesting to see if SD picks up one of the several veteran QBs that may be on the market (Cam, Jameis, Mariota, Bridgewater)

I heard a Tua quote where he said if he could pick his own team he'd pick the Cowboys to play for.

Doug Gottlieb said the Cowboys should try to trade up to get Tua and let Dak walk and I agree with him.

Tua's ceiling is way higher than Dak's and he would be way cheaper over the next four years before his second contract. The only real concern is that we don't know if the injury thing is bad luck or if he's going to live on IR.

The hip is a real concern but I'm not sure I've ever seen a qb in person more comfortable with the offense than Tua.

Helps that he had Bama recruits surrounding him but it still felt different.

Well now. Would be a massive move for ESPN. Michaels probably has 3-4 more years before he completely loses it. Already has lost a bit of a step but still has the iconic voice.

NBC would then slide Tirico up into the booth if they did this.

it is interesting how so many teams have realized that it's better to just let your 1st round pick walk after 4 or 5 years...even if they are a decent or good player...than signing him to a huge deal that severely hurts your salary cap going forward
