I know it won't happen. Cal McNair has given total control of the organization to a coach incapable of ever getting the organization to a conference title game or beyond. Texans need to hire a real GM and start over. The coming lame duck season (or God help us, seasons) will be hard to watch.

I think that Jason Garrett is a humble, empathetic leader of men. I think that BOB is an arrogant, non-accountable fraud.
He's really good. He was standing in the same room as Bill Belichick and his genius spread to BOB like an infection. With an elite QB I could see him winning 9 to 11 games per year with a first or second round playoff exit for several seasons in a row. Isn't that the goal? I know most of those other teams with elite QBs are shooting for the super bowl but this is a Houston team with lower goals.

The Texans have never had a good GM. That has been the whole problem in my opinion. The supplemental draft in the very beginning was atrocious. Maybe the team needs to be sold to some uber competitive som beach.

I thought Gaine did a very good job. Unfortunately, they fired him for no reason. His drafts were solid and he made smart financial decisions.

I feel like this year was pretty much the peak of what this team can accomplish. Guess i'll settle in for more of the same for the foreseeable future....

My passion for Houston professional football died with the end of Love ya Blue and the Oilers so I don't really have a dog in this hunt. That said, I honestly hope they trade J.J. to a contender. He deserves so much better than the turd omelette that is the Texans.
