I heard during the pregame that Ryan Tannehill needed 200 yards and a couple of touchdowns to score a $500,000 bonus. I saw that he missed it by 2 yards.

If Tennessee wasn't run by a dewshbag family..... One would think they would do the right thing at give it to him anyways.

It's been 25 years. Let it go man.
Pretty sure that is not allowed contractually. Talk about opening a Pandora's Box with the NFLPA and owners.Mr.Bond said:

Maybe they wouldn't have left if Houston was nicer.Mr.Bond said:_lefraud_ said:Mr.Bond said:

Nope.
Nashville isn't exactly a garden spot. Come on. But I agree that this a book that has long since been closed.hph6203 said:Maybe they wouldn't have left if Houston was nicer.Mr.Bond said:_lefraud_ said:Mr.Bond said:

It's not closed. I saw Adams daughter this year talking about the Oilers name and colors and how they would never let the Texans use then or ever sale them. It's their property not Houston's, talk about bitter and not letting go.
Bud Adams is a vampire, he's not truly alive.BMX Bandit said:Bud never left. He continued to live in Houston.hph6203 said:Maybe they wouldn't have left if Houston was nicer.Mr.Bond said:_lefraud_ said:Mr.Bond said:

I feel like if I ever went to their stadium, I would get arrested tearing those banners down and trying to flee with them.Mr.Bond said:
It's truly absurd that Bruce Matthews, Earl Campbell Mike Munchak etc have their numbers hanging in Nashville when they never played a down for them

Why not? They could make money off therm. They have no value mothball and Tenn fans don't want to see them.
the NFL did not force Modell to leave the name/colors/logo behind. He did it as part of settlement agreement in lawsuit with the city over the lease at the stadium.DannyDuberstein said:
The NFL should have forced the name to be left behind and then not just allowed but actually required the new franchise to use it, like they did with Cleveland. There should be a Titans in Tennessee, an Oilers in Houston, and the Texans should be nonexistent.

Tannehill has won the starting job for a very talented team........and he earned it by flat out balling. He will make alot more money on his contract and extension.
And heres to he and henry ripping the pats a new one this weekend.
They did fix it. They took out the big scoreboard and added seats to appease him. They did basically everything he asked about the Astrodome. Bud Adams was looking for excuses and he kept upping the demands until it just wouldn't be met anymore.expresswrittenconsent said:

perhaps it was the total of people that protested the moveDannyDuberstein said:

Love the folks that hate the Oilers for leaving when they didn't get a new stadium...then a few years later the city built a new stadium for a new franchise and the Astrodome is STILL COSTING THE CITY MONEY...Mr.Bond said:_lefraud_ said:Mr.Bond said:
