The Shield is kicking all of it's full-time zebras back to part time status. Given what we saw in the NFC Championship game last season, I'm not really sure if it matters. Incompetence is incompetence, whether full or part time.

In typical NFL fashion, this decision has nothing to do with improving the quality of officiating and everything to do with it being collective bargaining leverage being flexed by the league as the current deal expires after this season
