Yeah, I'm amazed at the health that Jason Witten had in his career - NFL record 179 consecutive starts at the position. That position just takes a pummeling, and so much of it comes when the guy is making a play on the ball and is just a big, open, relatively slow moving target for a free shot.

good for Gronk. One way to avoid CTE...is to not play for 15 something years

Johnny and Gronk should just start a reality tv show. Game days on Saturday and Sunday during season. Just travel around colleges during offseason.

When healthy, and in his prime, Gronkowski would be who I would say was most dominant.

As a career, I'd still have Gonzalez and Winslow ahead of him.

John Mackey is who probably changed the position the most. He also is the TE impacted NFL free agency and CTE support the most as well.
